To Our Valued Customers,
All of us at Bridge Street Toys are committed to providing high quality, educational, and safe construction toys.
The construction toys produced and sold by Bridge Street Toys are tested and conform to ASTM F963-03, the American
Society for Testing and Materials standard for toy safety. This government standard for toy safety ensures that
there are no sharp points, no lead paint, and no other substances that may be harmful to children.
The component pieces of our construction toys are produced by various manufacturing firms located in China and the United States
on our behalf. The pieces are delivered by these manufacturing firms to our facility outside of Boston and we do final assembly
and shipping. Because we do the final assembly of the construction toys we see and evaluate every component before we put them
into the box.
Our toys are primarily constructed of unpainted plastic material. The majority of the plastic pieces are produced by a manufacturing company in China using our tooling. We monitor the quality of these parts very closely.
Some of our building toys also include a wooden base that is painted green. These parts are produced in Rhode Island and are painted with a non-lead paint. Additionally, some of the parts included in the sets include a small amount of ink printed on the surface including the plastic side panels and the signs and flags. All of these parts have been tested to both the ASTMF963-07 standard and the 16 CFR 1303 Standard for Heavy Metal Content (this includes lead) and are in compliance with the government regulations.
We are committed to providing a high quality, educational and safe toy for all our children and for future generations of children. We take this commitment very seriously.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Paul Flack
President
